OFITG
Trying to identify it via google, reddit and this site, but there is nothing obvious, so to ask the question: What is considered to be the "best" (can be a few), Skyrim overhaul mod at this stage? I am looking for the following: *A mod which integrates many other mods for a completely new experience such as:*Gameplay overhaul, proper RPG feeling, old and new enemies which do not scale by my level, but are set*Improved skill/perk trees*Latest and greatest graphic improvements, texture mods, better bodies etc*Integrated new elements such as new towns, lands, quests, enemies, both generic and unique*game mechanic improvements for alchemy, magic, smithing, combat mechanic, other skills*Ideally have choices when creating a character which will not be "best at everything", but that the initial setup choices will have a meaningful impact on later gameplay*ideally remove dragon "bandits" (levelled dragons) out of the game as well (sets them at a either very hard or impossible to beat level until you have a high to very level character) In short I am looking for "morrowindy" setup in terms of gameplay (not skywind, but existing game with proper RPG mechanics and other improvements, if other, extended locations are also supported even better, but that is not a priority) Anything out there which is recommended along those lines, or a link to where it is already discussed? Novem99
Such a all in one mod has yet to be made.
OFITG
Ah, ok - explains why I was not able to locate anything. Any list of mods that can be recommended towards this goal, or in that direction? Priority is on RPG gameplay, so overhaul of how enemies are leveled (ideally static), especially dragon "bandits", and overahaul of skills/perks? forumsurfer78
Hy there. I´m arfaid it´s like Novem99 said. No such mod done so far. But I had to answer this question for myself aswell and here´re some tips https://www.google.de/search?q=best+combat+overhaul&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=mBcrWcLmGI-V8Qew6LiIDA#q=best+combat+overhaul+loverslab I wrote a little Post at loverslab (Post # 8 ). Maybe you like some ideas. Overhaul ? ... Hm, not to be selfish but this is a overhaul aswell: Choosable cooldown times for all greater Powers.http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/84011/? QuagaarWarrior
Ok so there's no all in one mod that does this but there are separate mods that offer most of this functionality.Requiem will give you an hard-core RPG experience, and de-level enemies. I believe it also overhauls perk trees. If it doesn't I recommend Ordinator for perk trees. For an up to date graphics combination there are dozens of guides out there. If you're new to this perhaps Skyrim Mod Combiner would be a good place to start. For combat/magic i believe Requiem may do this already but if not I personally use Wildcat and Vigor. The most comprehensive settlement mod for me is Expanded Towns & Cities. The mod page will tell you what's compatible if you want to add more stuff. For a character creation shake up there's Character Creation Overhaul or Imperious. For Dragon encounters you have two options I know of. Don't do the main quest and Dragons won't spawn or install Timing Is Everything. I believe the MCM menu allows you to disable random Dragon encountersFinally for quests there are a few mods that bring together many different quests like dungeon packs etc. I am currently running through a 'full loadout' of Legacy of the Dragonborn which has A LOT of quests either integrated or patched into Hope this helps
QuagaarWarrior
Also if you're new to this make sure you're making Skyrim stable before you mod it. I'd recommend Stability Performance Optimzation by Sthaagg. Also note that if you're using the Special Edition my advice is practically worthless!
