Sub-woofers

So, I recently bought a new (read: used) Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's a lovely black, has a rack up top and is just awesome. Well, aside from the fact that it's only a 2WD and it needs some work. >.<

HOWEVER, when I bought it, I discovered that it came with two amps preinstalled. The total value is around $1500, not too pricy in terms of amps, but much more than I could afford. So I had about $150 and bought a new subwoofer for it.

Later when I have more money, I'll buy another and new speakers. First I've gotta get a new deck though. The one it has is old and doesn't have a USB or AUX port and wont read MP3 CDs.

But I digress. The point is this. After using the new system in the car, my home system just feels flat. :ohdear:

Worse yet, I kinda blew my home speakers when connecting my TV upto it. For whatever reason, there is a delay between when you connect the audio outputs on the TV, to when the TV recognizes that and funnels sound to the external device. It is a long delay and is inconsistent. So I thought that it was just that the volume was too low, so I turned it way up, just in time for the sound to kick in and kick out my speakers. :wallbash:

I really miss my old speakers, they were high quality and expensive. But my parents threw them out without my knowledge when we moved about 10 years ago(I was 14-15) because apparently the AC leaked (more like flooded my room) and the wood cases got wet then grew mold.
