Drohung
So, I've been trying to figure this out for a bit, but I've had no luck. You see, I want to get deathclaws to fit through doorways, but I cannot seem to figure out what I need to do to make this work. Anyone have any ideas or could help me with this? damanding
You would need to either reduce the collision of deathclaws or increase the doorway opening in terms of collision. I don't recommend changing doorways unless you already know a fair amount about handling navcuts. Either way you'll need 3ds Max 2013 with the official Bethesda plugin to alter collision of anything. Drohung
Thank you for telling me of that! Do you know what part is the part with collision data? I know how to work with the tools and know how the collision works, I just don't know WHAT the collision is, parts/nodes/models-wise.
damanding
There are several videos on how to create collision in 3ds Max that can be readily found with a basic search on "fallout 4 3ds max collision".
Drohung
Alright, thank you. Any easy way to get 3DS Max 2013, without paying a fortune?
Drohung
And also, anyone know any good specific tutorials for editing the Deathclaw collision? I can't find any ones on armor.
BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
I actually still don't understand actor collision (if I'm being perfectly honest), but it's different from object collision.(Big IIRC) it's the bsbound (really, take that with a grain of salt, it's still very early in my day, hah)
Drohung
So, it's the bounding box? I tried to edit that and resize it, but it has data coming from somewhere else I think, because even making it very tiny doesn't change anything. Perhaps collision for such boxes are recorded in the behavior files? I'm just throwing out guesses here.
