Lowered Weapon Positions Issue

Not to be confused with the "Lowered Weapons" mod, which makes the character put their gun in a resting position, I mean something different.

 

Ya know whenever you hold a laser gun, or a pipe weapon, and then you see your hand just so close to your cheek?

 

That bugs me immensely, especially since "hip fire" tends to refer to you holding the gun CLOSE TO YOUR HIP.

 

I just want a simple mod that puts the gun positions lower on the screen. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think it is a lot harder than it looks. I once "suggested" (i.e. request) for a mod author to have his weapon lowered in first person because it takes up way too much screen space. It is unrealistic in real life as we would not want to admire the weapon so much as to have better and less obstructed view of the environment (as our lives depend on it). Basically who puts weapon that high up? If they aim, they already look through the sigh/scope, and if they don't aim, they lower the weapon almost out of sight so the weapon doesn't block their view.

However, your request would be better to "move the camera higher in first person perspective" which is a much easier request. To my knowledge, there are 2 camera settings in 1st person, the non-zoom and the zoomed one. So if we can move the non-zoom camera higher, it would fix your concern. Although the cross hair may be lowered as well.
