gaultjohn
Hello. I was a big fan of the mods "sleep anywhere" and "simple actions". Could sleep on the ground when needed.Would appreciate a small mod that allows you to craft a bedroll or a spell that allows you to sleep anywhere. Thanks. thumbincubation
I don't know if it falls within the definition of "small," but look at Campfire. Campfire allows you to drop tents or bedding, with room for up to 3 followers to sleep around you. Make campfires and stuff like that, so you can camp anywhere you are. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/667/? One of the benefits of Campfire is that, if you plan to use Frostfall at some point, Campfire is a prerequisite mod. Also, as it's a modder's framework, other there are more options in tents, bedrolls, etc., that are designed to work with it, like Tentapalooza. Another mod, Hearthcraft, lets you build houses all within the workings of Campfire. One of my mods is dependent on Campfire as well, but allows you to craft and carry storage containers and place barricades around you. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7723/? gaultjohn
Thanks for the info. Chesko is an amazing modder and campfire is fantastic. I will install and see. Hopefully can set up a bedroll without the tent inside blackreach or out in the wilderness or sleep under the stars. Appreciated.
thumbincubation
You're welcome. I know you can set up a "rough bedding" with campfire, and various tents. I'll have to log back in and see if I can do bedroll only. If not, I'm pretty sure the dependent mod Tentapalooza has bedroll only.
thumbincubation
I should mention, I noticed there was a newer version of campfire (1.11) but that some people are experiencing conflicts or issues. Whether that's an issue with campfire, or from changing versions in mid-playthrough, I don't know, but I use 1.10.3 and have no problems. I will install the new once I start a new game, but I can vouch for this version.
ScottC12
Back in regular Sjkyrim, I used Portable Campsite (Light version) by Mcxar at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9935/?. It does not look like that has been ported to SE, yet. Your player character can craft bedrolls, a campfire, tents, and other camp equipment, or buy them from an "experienced hunter" at the Riverwood Inn. This is great for ranger type characters, and immersive when your character wants to sleep but is far from home or an inn.The player can buy or craft a bedroll and place it just about anywhere, including in buildings or dungeons. Happy camping! Edited June 14, 2017 by ScottC12
ScottC12
The multiple follower framework mod Amazing Follower Tweaks (AFT) has a dialoge option where your player can tell a follower to make camp, and they create a camp with 2 tents, bedrolls, and a campfire. It works best on fairly level clearing without rocks, trees, or other obstacles. I haven't tried it in a town. Very handy in the wilderness or when traveling. You can ask them to take down the camp when you are done with it. Edited October 3, 2017 by ScottC12
Cthorthu
I use Campfire, but not for camping, but usually just to go with my sleeping bag in the backpack and sleep anywhere. It's perfect.
