Deleted34175660User
I am basically going to start to play fallout 4 again, and I'd like for some mod recommendations, I don't have any dlcs however.
tomomi1922
It's a tough and broad question. Frankly it has to do with what you really want to do in game. But I will give you a list of what I thought is "must have". - Looksmenu: just so much easier to know we can load/save preset as well as advanced body custom sliders to customize just about any character (must use along with Bodyslide) - CBBE: contrary to popular belief, CBBE is nothing slooty, sexualized, or even sexy at all. But it offers a robust system for customizing outfits and body (which works extremely well with the above Looksmenu advanced body slider function). CBBE can be used to make NPC and outfits into a cyber sex game, or can make them as ugly/unsexy/immersive as you see fit. - SHB (Super Hero Body): similar to CBBE for male, works with Bodyslide (but not yet with Looksmenu). Primitive comparing to CBBE, but that's all we got for male. - Unified Clothing Overhaul: just fix up Vanilla outfits so to make them a lot more compatible and customizable (and allow more outfits to have railroad armor upgrade). - Armorsmith and Armorkeywords: among all the cool features it is the place to create custom outfits (away from the chemistry lab). Too many cool options to look into. Check out their page. - Texture overhauls: a good selection of these mods to optimize landscape for look/performance. Sometimes can be life saver. These are large downloads but only replacer, no .esp - Seasons overhaul + Dust bowl (2 separate mods) but they do about the same thing that let you choose a distinct theme for the landscape. Winter season and dust bowl really improve performance. External app/software: - Nexus Mod Manager: it beats manual installation. - Bodyslide: it works with Looksmenu and CBBE (or other body system). - Bilago's Fallout 4 tweak: a total easy way to setup config and launch game. - Shadowboost: adjusting shadow resolution/distance on the fly to accommodate smooth game play. - ENB/Reshade: these make the game pretty but if done right, offers robust options on the fly for visual and even improve game performance. Like turning on/off effects on the fly to boost performance in heavy combat or nice visual for screenshots. I will add URL once I get home. Notice I mention only more generic mods that can be used by large majority of users regardless of how you want to play. So I didn't bother with weapons/amor and settlement related mods. I put priority on performance (we all need it), utility, and reliability. But overall I would suggest quality mods over quantity. Look up the authors, check the comments and bug section. Should be more skeptical toward newer authors. And since game only limits 255 mods, be very frugal on ESP count. Seek for authors who offer merged mods. Doombased merged weapons and manor rebuilt series are awesome as you get so much for only 1 ESP.

tomomi1922
Well, thanks for your very long answer, however i am looking for something that might make the game more dynamic, or stealthy Why didn't you specify at the beginning? Nobody would know you were looking for more "dynamic" mods. But still, all the mods above are considered essential no matter how stealthy the game you wants. PaddyGarcia
IDK about stealthy, but changing the climate makes for a very different experience. There are winter mods, desert mods, greenery mods... As to stealth, a good weather mod can help with more realistic (and easier) stealth. TrueStorms and Vivid Weathers are both excellent imho.
