Mod Conflictions

Long story short, I can't get Fallout 3 to start. It crashes to desktop everytime. I have read mutiple threads on modding, load orders, certain conflicting mods and done everything in my power before posting this. Here is my load order using BOSS, also I am using BOSS and it doesn't state any unrecognized plugins. PLEASE HELP ME What the hell am I doing wrong?!

I don't see DC Street or Xepha's Dynamic Weather in your load order...am I right, or has my eyesight failed me? Trying to load a plugin without it's masters will cause a CTD...

 

I added the dynamic weather I just dont know what mod DC Street-BS.esp is part of, wasnt that contained in DC interiors?

You need to read the BOSS report and make the changes. You have reports of conflicting mods that you have not done anything about. Read the load order and make the corrections, than try to run the game.

You have mods there that require other mods that you do not have, ie: Fallout Remastered - FWE + EVE (PI Merge).esp Requires: Paradox Ignition Merged version of Energy Visuals Enhanced,

Mart's Mutant Mod - FOOK2 - DIK.esp Requires: FOOK2 - Main.ESM, etc. Do not try to run FOOK and FWE, it is almost impossible.

You may be playing with to many mods for one thing. The game engine (and your computer) can only handle so much. For another, I will reiterate what the last post stated, you need to clean up your load order and drop any mods that you do not have ALL the requirements for. I assume you used FOMM to load all this stuff, if not, you should. Open FOMM and left click on the Load Order tab. Now choose BOSS Auto Sort. After that's done open the tab again and click on the Load Order Report. You will note that this gives you a pop up menu showing all your plugins (mods) in the order they are now set to load. At the front of each plugin there is either an asterisk or an exclamation mark. A plugin with an asterisk is okay, no problems. An exclamation mark indicates a problem that will prevent your game from loading. These plugins will also list the problem. Make the corrections and you should be golden. if that doesn't resolve you issue you may have to un-tick all your plugins and re-tick them a few at a time, loading the game between each adjustment until you find which mod is causing your issues and then don't use that mod. Modding a game like Fallout is a pain-in-the-assets, but once done it's usually worth the efforts.
