redneck1st
First off you should have never installed mods from the Oldrim as it was only 32bit and SE is 64 bit. Especially mods like Skyse and Skyui. Personally if it were me I'd abandon the game; Disable and remove all mods for which you've got that are for Oldrim and have not been ported over for SE. Then work with the SE only mods. As for me I only use mods from 1 site not multiple sites. I use Nexus for my mods and Nexus mod manager to download and install my mods. LOOT to sort my mod order and SSEEDIT to clean my mods and master files. Just chalk it up as a learning experience.

BlueGunk
Hi W1nterfrost Sorry, it has to be the hard way. First validate your game files through steam to make sure it is in good shape. Start with a completely unmodded vanilla SE game and get yourself to Riverwood and make a "I'm here" kind of save. You can keep that for the future and saves the drag of doing the intro again. Then reintroduce your SE mods one by one and test the game each time using disposable saves. Use the console to set TMM 1 which gives you all the map markers, allowing you to go to various places in Skyrim and test mods / landscapes for faults. Never use Auto Save, Quick Save. They will destroy your game. Leave any Oldrim mods to last - because they will need converting. There are guides on the Nexus on how to do this. Thoroughly test each one before accepting and moving on. TMM 1 helps you go to a follower and check the character out, for example. Hope you get going OK. PS - You can safely use Alternative Start on a totally vanilla game - saves a load of hassle. Up to you.

LOL I know what you are saying there Currently I've got 139 or so mods for which I'm testing out right now working on getting a stable build and play through . It's a learning process thats for sure. BlueGunk
139? I love to destroy my game on a regular basis. I'm juggling 236, with about 15 merged to save ESPs! I never learn. I get so far and think "That looks a good mod"! and add it. Then - flunk. The number of times I have started afresh is beyond count. :sick:And here's me thinking I can dispense advice to others. W1nterfrost, you'd probably do well not listening to me!
strawbqwerty
Got the same issue at the moment. Problem is it is a real puzzle. Heading down from River wood to the Meadery the game crashes. Now that is some vanilla country there. No mods in that area at all. X2 for what Blue Gunk posted. Just can`t leave a game alone. Hmm there is one mod I might have a look at... Just noticed that my mods take like 60gb of space :/ Edited June 20, 2017 by Vaitelavicius
