Crusher8787 Posted June 6, 2017 Share Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) As the title says almost all the larger files i download tend to be corrupted i cant really tell if its just nexus but im 99.9% sure that its only from nexus, anything that i need to download or do to fix this or is this just a random thing i cant fix? And yes i download through manual and NMM sometimes the manual and NMM install correctly but its very very random and almost never happens. Ive had this problem about the time Fallout 4 came out. Please help Edit: Well it seems I have fixed it its day one of it working so I think im good. What I did to fix this was change my wifi adapter. So if you ever get this problem the first thing you should do is try to use another wifi adapter if you dont have one, you should buy one they are quite cheap. Also, what Internet browser and version are you using? And on a side note, why have you waited so long to ask about this? Just curious. Well most of the time its anything above 100-150 MB so stuff like Sim Settlements or Old World Radio - Boston. I use Firefox version 53.0.3 (64-bit). And i never got to asking because of two reasons i give up quickly so i really don't put too much time into whatever i do and it really didn't bother me too much, but now I've started play stuff like Fallout:NV and Fallout 4 again and I add big mods into my game. Also ive downloaded TTW for FNV and it downloaded fine no corruption nothing, so i'm pretty sure it may be something wrong with nexus. Firefox should be fine, but if chrome doesn't work either, then maybe you have an issue with security policies or maybe it could be Nexus related. Crusher8787 Posted June 8, 2017 Author Share Posted June 8, 2017 Yep it seems to be nexus's fault (although i dont quite know why my brother have no problem when downloading on it) i just downloaded a huge mod from another site and it worked just fine (although it took forever to download) so if you know if for any reason its happening then i would be grateful. I think it's more likely that your computer has a problem, unless other people start reporting the same issue. Moksha8088 Posted June 10, 2017 Share Posted June 10, 2017 The largest mod I have downloaded on the Nexus was over 2 GB. NMM handled it, but it took a very long time to activate once downloaded. My guess as to what happened with some players on the very same mod was they figured the activation process was stalled so they aborted the process prematurely.
