brucethemoose
I'm getting annoying, random (1-20 minute) system hangs in many interiors. Not CTDs, but hangs where the whole computer freezes and audio loops repeatedly. Only happens inside, happens in certain interiors far more often than others, like memory den, railroad headquarters, mahkara fishpacking for example. If I quicksave right before it happens, loading the save either causes an immediate crash or a crash a few seconds later. Started happening after a wierd FO4 CTD awhile ago. Never happened before that. We all know Fallout 4 CTDs every once in awhile, so I didn't think anything of it then and didn't pay attention. Here's what I've tried so far: Uninstalling ALL mods. Still get crashes loading the same saves.Using default inisDisabling and safely uninstalling obvious potential problem mods (NAC, for example)Running all stock clocks now on CPU/GPU. OCCT ran overnight without a hiccup, and I play Andromeda and Planetside 2 and Stellaris for hours straight without a single crash. Hell, I even tried overvolting at stock clockspeeds.Disabling ENBoost, messing with its settings Running on all low settingsVSync (both in the ini and via the graphics cards on/off, enabling disabling the 60FPS frame limiter. Multiple AMD graphics drivers, all clean uninstalled with the default utility + DDU.An excorcismHardware temps are fine, including VRMs and various other components.Verified local files with steam.Tried the beta branchScript debugging. Nothing consistent shows up in the logs at the times of the crashes.Nothing useful in the Windows event viewer.DPC Latency is lowTried locking the GPU/CPU to the max powerstate. I thought switching to a lower p-state in interiors might be the problem. Didn't help. Hardware: 4670k, 7950, 12GB memory, SSD MO2 Modlist: https://pastebin.com/MksNhhh8 It's just this guide without the object texture mods (bar a few required by the patch), so I like to think its a fairly stable setup: http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Gernash/MODWiki ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ So... what the heck? What do I even do next? Is there some way to get crash data from Fallout 4 itself? Or clean a save? Edited June 8, 2017 by brucethemoose
Zzyxzz
Had such an issue too and in the end it was my graphics card that was defect. Bought a new one, solved. Start a new game and test again.
brucethemoose
All my other games work fine though... I can run Andromeda at 1200mhz with no crashes, and this is clearly something affecting saves. You could be right, but I want to exhaust everything first. I'm gonna try that CTD fix from another thread, then try a new game like you said. I just avoided it so far because the crashes are so inconsistent. brucethemoose
Turns out, I was wrong about papyrus script errors. These 2 logs are from crashes in the exact same area, at different times: https://www.diffchecker.com/tLCA2ffi I just need a bit of help interpreting them... Zzyxzz
You have a mod that requires F4SE but you have F4SE not installed / using an old version. Get the latest version. Btw, you are using RaiderOverhaul/Super Mutant Redux, if you notice stutters, its probably those mods.

Hmmmm, maybe MO2 is isn't launching it right. http://i.cubeupload.com/oVfA4Z.png And thanks for the warning. EDIT: Appears to be right in MO2:http://i.cubeupload.com/8zp5BU.png Edited June 9, 2017 by brucethemoose
Zzyxzz
F4SE also has an Data Folder with scripts in it.
brucethemoose
F4SE also has an Data Folder with scripts in it. Thanks, didn't know that. Doesn't say anything about it in the ReadMe, I just assumed they were source or example files. Sadly, neither the save cleaner nor the data files helped  Here's the last log, if it matters, but the one before that didn't even have an entry anywhere near the crash: https://pastebin.com/4a3gmNkv Interestingly, the save cleaner won't even load my last quicksave: http://i.cubeupload.com/lgpoKn.png That can't be good.
