Well that's pretty strange. To be quite honest it's not a very big problem. There are thousands of saves on this site located at the end of the tutorial dungeon which you can use for new characters. Simply use console command showracemenu and customize all you want.

yeah, but it is his first first playthrough.

I would like to be able to see the start of a new game, wouldnt you? ;)

He says play again properly.. I assumed he had played before but I don't know.

Unless you're the one that posted on steam too, thats a mod conflict. (I saw someone on the citytrees v2 mod commenting that this happened to them, too.) Hope you figure it out :P Either way was kind of amusing! Also, on the same mod the author said he'd tested to see if his mod was causing it, didn't think it was. (He didnt alter helgen at all.) Just an idea to check out anyway.

Right, so after a few weeks of messing around with Skyrim I finally decided to play again properly and this is what happened.

Skyrim Fail

Has this happened to any one before? Also this happens everytime I start a new game so I have to use someone elses save! :wallbash:

lol you are the one who failed!

Seriously mods would mess up the games if it is not compatible with other or not compatible with the game (especially killable children mod) or some mods would make the game imbalance like some other overhaul mod so learn from your mistake create a lot of characters in the game.

I totally much agreed with you starting over again creates large of frustration especially it is the game fault like when you encountered bugs that would not let you finished the quest and your save game remain corrupted. Also totally much agreed with you, you cannot really much customize your character in the game if you have change mind compared to oblivion you can change your race if you don't like the one you pick at the first place also it is much easier in oblivion to start a new game.

I actually did a new install of skyrim but I must of not of done a completely fresh install. But all if fine now, deleting all my saves seemed to fix it o_O . When I got skyrim the day it game out it was quite buggy for me so I eventually gave up but a lot of stuff have been patched since than so I figured i should re-start. I also remember in Oblivion, I had a few characters. One thing I don't like about Skyrim is that it feels as if the game was released too early. Excluding the bugs, quests started out good but than they just felt generic near the ending and the main quest was a huge disapointment, especially when you've just killed the big giant world eater who was to kill everyone and no one cares! I rememberi n Oblvion everyone walked out and was like "Heil the Grand Champion" or something but I guess Skyrim's main purpose is exploration of it's world which is brilliant!
