Combatjack07 Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Not sure if any of the Supermutants are female as I guess they would look quite similar after all the muscle mass and loss of hair. But they were created in a lab. Then what happened? They are roaming free now but there seems to be a lot of them. Are they breeding? Do they attack raider camps and take the women? Giving birth to half-breed abominations and dying in the process? I guess there is probably lots of lore as to why there are no supermutant children, but a mod would be cool, they could just cower during fights and be set to essential if need be. TheVampireDante Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Super mutants don't breed, they don't have the capacity (read: genital equipment) for it, since that is something that is mutated out. New mutants are created by dropping someone into a vat of FEV that mutates them into the super mutants. Despite being rather male orientated in looks and sound, they are for the most part completely genderless, but you can hear some mutants in Fallout 3 saying they thought they might have been women before being changed. Then there's Lily and Tabitha in Fallout New Vegas. So perhaps some memories leak back through of who they used to be, at least on a very basic level.
