jjb54
I took some time off from Skyrim SE, in that I was hoping that Script Extender might be ready. > NO! This not about that. I understand totally about doing something right, does and can take time. < So I was off playing FO 4 and decided I needed a break from that. I'm not sure why that game takes more out of me than not. Could be the dismal atmosphere? Oh well .... is what it is. But it was strange coming back to a game already in progress ... I had Inigo - Kharjo and Lydia all looking at me with " the look ". Hey, I had a good fire going and they were protected from the elements since Feb. 2017 .... so it's not like they were " left out in the cold ". But I did have to familiarize myself with what I had, where I left off and where was I going?????? I almost thought I should start over ... but I nixed that idea. So onward and forward. :) Just some random thoughts. Feel free to ignore and/or share your coming back to a game after a short break and having to relearn where and who you were. .. Jj ... BlueGunk
I know the feeling. I went off to play Witcher 3 while waiting for SKSE. Coming back to SE I was struggling to remember the controls, getting the menus wrong, casting a fireball when I meant to use the sword...lol.I left Witcher 3 for ages - I'm worried about returning to that now. Tooneyman
My break from SSE was figuring out how install MO2 with SSE, FO4 and Skyrim 32bit. The problem was when I finally got it all in stone. MO2 and killed my mod list, but I've gotten everything working correctly. Took about two weeks, but I'm back on trying to get my mod list in order and hopefully start scripting some mods. SSE's controls are old school for sure, but it is easier if you have some inventory sorting mods and spell setups.
