chanchan05
I agree with BaconCat, "Nightingale Bow. Period." I use it with Daedric Arrows and what a combo! What's so great about it? I used to have it but the enchantment gets used up way to fast. I just made a Daedric Bow, improved it to better damage than Nightingale then put fire and lightning enchant on it. Dubnoman
Dubnoman you get the Nightingale Bow in the Thieve's Guild Quests. Ah, thank you. I intend to get into the Thieves Guild quests soon.
thesapien
For a sneak attack, draw speed is irrelevant, isn't it? One can quickly switch bows after the sneak attack, so enemies responses are also irrelevant and how you might handle them. Damage is all that is relevant. Thus, heavier bow. Depending on your skill and the level of the enemy, it might be overkill, but that's all. You weren't asking about wasting betters arrows on lesser opponents, so that's your answer. madasafox
Love my bow, it is a Daedric one I crafted myself (level 100 smithing). With archery enchantments on various items it has a damage of about 290. I only have the 2x sneak attack bonus but it pretty much is a one shot kill for most enemies. Kane65
Daedric, hands down. Sneaking you are going for 1 shot kills so a daedric bow with daedric arrows is you best bet. You can enchant the bow with paralyze if you want but I've never needed it.
BaconCat
The nightingale bow is great even without the enchantment, so long as you upgrade it. If you dont, I guess an ebony bow would be fine. As for the damage, I have +40% Archery on everything I can get it on. :P
