Formulae for settlement produce limit/cap/ceiling

In settlements, settlers will continue to harvest food items and junk items (and water purifiers water) until that settlement's workshop contain a given amount of those items (IIRC, for scavenge items it's something like 100+5*settlers). I've tried to look into where this formula and/or the numbers of it are, but I can't seem to find them anywhere digging through the Creation Kit, neither in game settings, other objects, or in scripts. That doesn't mean it is not there though, but I've given up finding it on my own for now. :smile:

Does anyone know where (or if!) this/these value(s)/algorithm(s) are located?

Cheers man. I was looking for a mod to do that, but couldn't find it, so I decided I would make one myself. Ah well. :smile:

@freso,

if you were still inclined in that area,

para-settlements and the such could still use some algorithms for that.

I think its still an under-explored area of FO4, as awesome as "uncapped settlement surplus" is

(and it is, it's a staple in my mod load order hehe)

it's also going to be part of how War of the Commonwealth v2,3 and onwards might operate;

to be able to alter those for different settlements relative to their stats

ie, 0-100 DEF then x,y,z routines,

then iff 101-200 then p,q,r,s... etc.

all the way into 5 digit values per settlement stat hehe.

it can also be used to better calibrate the threat challenge level for an area,

and for encounters that attack the caravans along the trade route between the settlement.

not to mention, in the mod project "Wasteland bartering economics",

folks want to overhaul the trade system, such that it is interoperable with

the better AGIXML talking heads, karma and choice system overhauls.

the cost you can get in trade, should be determined partially based on the needs of that settlement city-state,

and it's present balance of trade.

the folks in that Wasteland Battering Economics mod are putting a lot of real stuff into it,

particularly 'hyperstagflation'.
