Pip-Boy Glove

Now I know that most players loathed the Pip-Boy glove back in Fallout 3 and New Vegas and promptly modded it off, but I seem to have been one of very few who didn't, so I just thought I'd see if there was anyone that would be willing to recreate a Pip-Glove for the new Mark IV Pip-Boy in Fallout 4

did you have a sketch or image of what you envisage and have in mind?

are you talking the PowerGlove sorta like that NrinTwendo power glove?

or, that 'fingerless glove'/'glove with the knuckle and switch" variant?

 

i'm thinking, if you use ArmorKeywords, and mix-n-match the glove to the pipboy, job done hehe.

 

would it be a 'fingerless glove'? there's a mod called "gambit's grabbers"

and "wolverine's mits" which add a fingerless glove and a 3-blade 'retractable' 'glove'/'power fist replacer"

I think between that and "Mad Martin's attire" mod, you'll have all the fingerless gloves you'd need.

that, and the Klingorts. Klingort attire has those stabby 'meat-tenderizer' knuckles and all.

 

what did you envisage the glove being made from?

neoprene, leather, or wool?

I think there are a few different gloves, and if not,

I think Dread74 could probably make a texture for that glove if you asked em hehe.

 

golf-leather driving gloves are also part of an "homage to wasteland hitman (Twenty)Four-Seven"

they look okay with the pipboy.

 

I think the folks who made all those FO3 and FONV homages for the settlement build system

said they were working on bringing back the clothing and weapons too at some point,

so, we could wait it out for that hehe. they've been blitzing, so it probably won't be too long.

 

I hear that a predator Pipboy UI and a Mandalorian wrist-Pipboy homage are in the works too,

though it's been ~7months since the last update on those. definitely wouldn't hold the breath on those hehe.

Unfortunately I can't sketch to save my life, but design wise i was thinking more or less along the lines of the original fingerless glove and knuckle from the previous games, a neoprene material glove with a sleek and smooth style of knuckle, with the knuckle being the same color as the Pip-Boy

I just dunno, and never did, what is this glove supposed to be or do? If it's only aesthetics, then why let it in? If there's was a planned function and didn't make it for development issues, wonder wich is.
