So I apologize for being a pleb.The mod I'm trying to install is the SkyrimSE Re-Engaged ENB. There is no option to download this with the NMM. Scroll down the mod page http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1089/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrimspecialedition%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D1089%26preview%3D&pUp=1 and follow the directions laid out in the Installation video. Manually download the mod to your desktop and extract the zip file there ( I use the desktop since it is easy to find). One of the files is the installation readme file. Just follow it step by step. Other manually downloaded mod can be added by download to desktop (see above), use green plus sign in top left corner of NMM and select add file.
