Palandiell
hello, I have a few questions I am downloading some clothing mods that dont seem to be on nexus (seriously, most clothing mods seem to be absolutly weird to over sexual) and I just wanted to know something: I know how to install it manually, but sincei t doesnt appear on the NVMM, what happens if I have a conflict? and one of the clothing mods, doesnt say where I can find it (its russian) how can I track down where the clothes are? thompsonar
You can use NMM to install mods you've download elsewhere. I can't remember exactly what it says but it's like "install from file" in the file menu. If all you're installing are clothing mods I wouldn't think there would be any conflicts, well at least if they're all standalone versions. I feel like most of the time they're smithable items. If they're replacers then if any replace the same item they would replace the replacement. As for not being able to find them in game, you can learn Russian or use a translator. Probably a way to find the added items reference code and add them by the console but I don't know exactly how that's done.
sergiobor
I have all my ( 110 ) mods installed by NMM and the easy way is, after you download the mod ( from anywere ) unzip the file to a temporary folder, then check the folder's and make them like this: nameofthemod/datameshestextures xxxx.esm and/orxxxx.bsaIf after you explore the unzip file there's no "data" folder, just add one and transfer the other's folder's/files (meshes; textures; esm; bsa ; text doc; audio file ; etc...), to data folder. Now just add your data folder ( with everything inside) to your nameofthemod folder and then click with right mouse button and select add to "nameofthemod.rar", and this rar file is ready to use with NMM.Just open the NMM and click on mods - add mod from file - select that file you zip and activate the mod......and for tracking the mods in russian site try to use google chrome translator. it's the way how I do.For to use the armors/clothes in game: If they are standalone, just go to a forge and check in the categories for crafting to see the recipe. If you want the ID to add with console: Just open the CK or Skyedit and load that mod and there you can see the form ID.....or in game, open the console and type - help nameofthearmor 4 - Hope be usefull Edited February 20, 2012 by sergiobor
