As I see it now (and I may be wrong again), the problem is that other modders cant put things directly in your shop/container. But you could give them some instructions (and a sample scripts?) on how to find your shop/container ingame and on how to move their item there. (but I don’t like this, myself) Or you could select a cell from the original game (some interior cell unlikely to be used by other mods or an exterior cell in the edges of the world) and instruct other moders to just create their items there. Then, your mod, once per load, could scan that cell and, using this new functions nosisab is testing, find which items were added to the game and move them to your shop/container. I will keep you posted. Why would you need to have an item on the model as well as in the shop? The player can't access the shop if they're looking at the models, and the models won't be seen if the player is in the shop. I don't quite understand what you are thinking.There are a few scenarios when this happens. For example, as the model walks the catwalk, the player can open a container he has in front of him called ´Now showing´ or something like that. This container has the same items the model is showing. The playes may use this ‘function’ two ways: [1] To select an individual item he liked and move it to his wish list. [2] To write down the names of the items the model is wearing, so he can buy them after he deactivates my mod (as I will suggest in the readme) . Another example is if he opens his wish list and it happens to contan de same item the model is wearing A question out of curiosity> Why did the topic icon turn red (hot). I have already created a total of 6 new merchants spread across 2 new shops and 2 floors to handle every clothing & armor mod I've d-l that either places the items in a chest to find or puts them directly into the player's inventory. I have no idea if this would be something publically welcomed for a variety of reasons so this is really for my personal game. 2. My other idea was for a shared resource container for anything from new armor sets and clothing to letters to the player charcter as created by new quests. I was thinking something along the lines of a Black Horse Mail Box which would include all BH standard editions + all special editions as soon as the player enables them through the corresponding quest completion. Plus the ability to order other books by different modders that could be included. Plus an original short fiction series written by me. What I thought would be great is to put the mailbox in your shop instead so that player can preview the armor and buy rather than have it for free. The side effect is that those items will be included in Palonyria´s buy/sell menu It would be OK for a personal use, but wouldn’t fit the concept of the game if Palonyria started to sell armor. After I finish my first version, we could do a few tests with each other mods and see if we could manage to make them interact without creating a hard dependency either way. If so then maybe I can create another version in an original shop, perhaps combining the best parts of my ideas 1 & 2 as well as yours. Basically, when the player activates the "now showing" container everything is removed from the model into the container, then the container is activated. When the player exits that menu, everything within the container will be sent back to the model. Or just expect that people using your mod will have a memory capacity larger than a goldfish (curse you mythbusters for ruining this analogy). I chose DE because, as a player, there is where I went most frequently to buy clothes added by other mods. If this mod gets any level of acceptance, I may expanded it to armor and/or other shops. It could be anything from just a clone mod to add a similar showroom to The Best Defense to a whole new ´Imperial City Fashion Mall’ where any [original] vendor could show their wares (version 99.3 :biggrin: ). Another possibility for a second version would be to be able to show clothes from new stores added by other mods (I am familiar with Oona´s Outfitters and would love to show her wares). If I could find a way to make it dynamic, this would automatically include your shops. But I cant imagine how to do it. Probably it is not possible. Maybe it is possible if both mods have some kind of customized scripts to support it. That is when we could work together to make our mods interact. Fair enough? When the player exits that menu, everything within the container will be sent back to the model.I thought about that, but the inventory menu does not cover the whole screen and the model may be showing on the right side.I was planning some test to check if the game engine freezes the view before or after removing the clothes from the NPC.If it freezes before taking her clothes, it would do.If it freezes after … well … maybe the players wont complain (at least the males :biggrin: ) PS> I would like so show you a couple of screenshots.Could any of you guys teach me how to do it? I can see a lot of possibilities for this but one thing at a time. Let me know if you need any help. As for screenshots you need to adjust your ini file.
