Does Skyrim Special Edition creation kit work on Skyrim Legendary Edition?

 

I have Skyrim Legendary Edition and I want to make my own mods on it, is it possible or not? If I have to install the Creation Kit for Skyrim Legendary Edition can anyone provide me with a download, please?

The CK 64 bit is not backwards compatible with any of the other versions of Skyrim. If you plan to mod for Skyrim Legendary Edition, you need the old CK.

 

You can however us the old CK to make mods for Skyrim SE.

I have a non-steam version of Skyrim, can I get it another way?
