Mods not appearing in-game

Hi, I'm having trouble installing the mods correctly, I think I'm doing something wrong but I can't be sure.

I installed a bunch of mods via Nexus Mod Manager and all are considered installed and showing up in the Skyrim SE Data Folder.

However none of them are showing up in the game itself, I check the mod option and it keeps saying no content found. Even LOOT won't recognise that any of the mods are properly installed.

Is there something I'm missing to fully enable mods or is there something wrong that I'm not seeing?

EDIT: They're now showing up in LOOT but still not in game.

You downloaded them and installed them? When you download them you right click them and click Install and Enable. Also, do they show up if you click mods in the skyrim special edition menu? If they do show up in the menu, then make sure they are enabled. That's all I know that might help. Sorry if this doesn't help.

EDIT: Also make sure you are launching Skyrim SE and not normal Skyrim

Well as you can see from the images I put up they are installed and enabled in Nexus and Skyrim SE is being launched as I'm trying it from Nexus as well as Steam and there are little green checks next to all the mods. They're just not showing up in the mod menu in the game.

I think I fixed it now.

I uninstalled all the mods, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and added only the patch and alternate start and the mod warning showed up when I tried to start a new game. That was the issue that the warning was not coming up showing that the game wasn't recognising any mods installed.

Just because the "mod is showing as checked in the plugins section does not mean they're active. You need to fing the mod in the "Mods" tab and of it has a red circle/line it's not active. Highlight it and click the green check mark to activate it.

Little Tip, Unless you got like 200+ mods, don't use the NMM categories.. I got all my mods categorized under c0AX's Mods lol.. To me it's easier but i do only got like 35 or so mods..

If you're using categories, click the Expand All button to make it easier to find the mod you're looking to see if it's active or not...

I just read your posts a lil closer, you did mention the green check marks.. hmm, hell if I know then...
