GowiHasti
I've created an NPC based upon Dawnguard's husky to be an animal companion without having to be a member of any faction. However, upon adding him in-game theres no dialogue with him. Can somebody help me get him to follow you like Meeko without having him talk like a person I find that too annoying. GowiHasti
Please, can't someone point me to a tutorial to make him a companion, or at least hireable without having a humanoid voice? Edited June 24, 2017 by GowiHasti
Tasheni
I don't know how Meeko is set up, you could just look at him in ck and duplicate him. Or use this tutorial to set up your animal follower: http://skyrimmw.weebly.com/skyrim-modding/making-a-custom-follower-skyrim-modding-tutorialYou simply don't need to give him a voice other than the dog voice and no other dialogue than a bark as answer, if he should reply to orders like sit or wait or follow. A good example is the mod True Wolves Of Skyrim that included a dog companion named Lola. Load it in ck and look how Lola was created.

When I can get a chance I'll look over the tutorial and see where I might have went wrong, or perhaps simply need to add. Then test it out and if I still have problems I'll definitely load up True Wolves of Skyrim in the ck and examine it. Again, I thank you.
