Changing Player Character Language?

How would I go about just changing the player characters language?

You meant voice?

 

It depend of what language you want. I think, using mod is good option if it available.

 

I use japanese voice replacer for main. There is a Mod at nexus that allow to do that to your hero, sometimes companions as well. It is regard japanese.

 

Appears to be french voice for female and curie exist too. Maybe there is something else at nexus.

 

 

If you dead set to make it yourself.

Looks like exist several ways to make it with desirable results.

 

I can see only one for now.

 

 

change temporarily language of the game and then extract from files voice replies by protagonists with saving viable file structure hierarchy (example: data/sound .... or whatever it is suppose be)

 

now change language back

and then make sure, extracted voice replies with right hierarchy put in the place(data/something) .

 

Suppose to work now.

 

 

 

 

Maybe there another ways.....

I'm just going to bump this and see what happens. I really want my character to speak russian but not sure how confident I am following the instructions above.

Update: I came so close.... Apparently bethesda didn't include Russian in the game. Just subtitles... Le sigh.
