SkyUI on Skyrim Special Edition?

Hi, I recently bought the Skyrim Special Edition, re-install nexus mod manager (yeah, it's been a while since I played) and I wanted to install the SkyUI mod that is so pleasant. But I couldn't, because "nexus mod manager is not set up to work with skyrim". Of course, because it's no longer installed on my computer, since I have the special edition. Does it mean SkyUI isn't compatible with this edition? If yes, is there a mod like SkyUI compatible with it?

Thanks in advance!

You can use SkyUI version 2.2 with Special Edition. You'll need to download it manually and drop it into the NMM downloads folder. Then Fhaarkas posted a Quick and dirty way to remove SKSE warning and broken search widget from SkyUI 2.2 guide on reddit. If you want those fixes plus some improvements you can use the same method to copy and paste the improved scripts from my Better Container Controls mod instead. My revisions to the scripts fix the warning and filter problems and also switch the key bindings to the SkyUI 3 mapping, add a Put Most key, add container categorization (thanks to bitkipper), and fix the magic school icons for spells. (Note if you use the scripts from my mod you just need the Optional Files download with the scripts and instructions, the main file is for people still willing to use the game's original interface.)
