chucksteel
Again from my perspective, I wouldn't care if VotW took up half of my XB1 Mod reserve! I would still use it but, I can also understand as a modding team how it could feel futile to upload it to the XB1 when most XB1 players are not me or even like me. I also totally understand the frustration of this 2gb cap! My mod Beantown Interiors is only half optimized because of it. (and the crappy tools that make oversized Pre-Combined Meshes!) for example Beantown comes in at only 252.9mb on XB1. Fully optimized it would end up being around 700mb, Even with everything I've done to keep the file size down, I constantly have people wanting me to cut features to trim down the file size so they can use more mods. Sorry! Aint going to happen! Use it or don't!
AGreatWeight
Yeah, that's the main reason I'm hesitant to reupload it, not to mention that I don't own an Xbone myself to test it out. When I had my Brainwashing mod up on Beth.net. I kept getting a lot of comments from Xbone users mentioning the file size. Some understood the reason for the file size, some said they loved the idea of the mod but wouldn't use it as it was too big, but most kept asking me to make it smaller; one user even asked me to split it up into several smaller pieces (Nope, not gonna remake the mod just for you!) I ended up removing it when I found out Razorwire had removed VotW, as it seemed a bit pointless keeping it up when the mod it's dependant on was gone. We've unfortunately hit a huge snag in development today, due to a script inside the mod that we're unable to decompile, which means that we can't add compatibility for certain things, or any other updates we were planning, aside from the one we'll release in the next several days. Not sure how we'll proceed after that.
jesterskull25
God this just sounds like Luftahraan thing all over again.....(This is why I will never get into modding.)(Why can't modders just make it simple, like in the case of Luftahraan, just a simple port town in that location.)(For here, Why can't you just have the Televisions change channels randomly.) jesterskull25
Let Television work like a Radio (Xbox Mod Request) Televisions can already do this......why not in game, let television seem more useful in your settlement.......................Seems simple enough........easy mod name: TV Radio https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5778727-let-television-work-like-a-radio-xbox-mod-request/
AGreatWeight
Why can't modders just make it simpleSimply put, because it's not that simple (although most mod authors would like it to be, as it would make life easier for us) Why can't you just have the Televisions change channels randomly.Because there are no channels as such in the base game, so there's nothing to change to. It'd all have to be created from scratch (including the video/audio content that would be the 'TV channels', which is something that I'm already working on) and it'd require a number of custom scripts, and I've already stated that none of us on the VotW team have any knowledge/experience making scripts (neither of us have the time to be able to divest in learning this new skillset at the moment) Let Television work like a Radio (Xbox Mod Request) Televisions can already do this......why not in game, let television seem more useful in your settlement.......................Seems simple enough........easy mod name: TV Radio https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5778727-let-television-work-like-a-radio-xbox-mod-request/ This is just my personal opinion, but TV's being able to play radio broadcasts seems a bit pointless when you can just place a radio in your settlement (or use your pipboy's built-in one) but maybe someone else will do it. I don't do requests sorry as I just don't have the time. Edited July 8, 2017 by AGreatWeight

You "may" not be able to do it, but you can ask someone you know to do it. I could have done it if this was New Vegas but my computer can't handle Fallout 4. No, I just choose not to as I don't consider it a priority to use my time to make something I'm not interested in.
