Reidlos
Older guides all basically say, regardless of u using blender or 3ds max, it all requires a in development add-on plugin. Is this true still? Is there anything that natively support nif files?
shavkacagarikia
Yes, you need Nif plugin. And I don't think there is similar soft that natively supports nif files. Edited June 27, 2017 by shavkacagarikia
jkruse05
If you're using Blender the newer .nif plugin isn't even that reliable. I've been exporting as .obj and running it through outfit studio to get a .nif.
N7R
Yeah the workflow either goes: 3D Modeling Program of your choice > Export as OBJ file > import and convert to a nif in Bodyslide Outfit Studio > finalize nif in Nifskope or 3D Modeling Program of your choice > Export as OBJ file > import and convert to a nif in 3DS Max > finalize nif in Nifskope It would be cool if other 3d applications like Maya and Blender had true nif plugins but sadly they don't seem to.
