GowiHasti
If I had a mod from someone else but they did something I didn't like in addition to things I like, such as remodeled a house and a huge change to a housecarl and I don't want the changes to the housecarl is it ok to simply delete the reference to the housecarl? Will they still appear and show up and work properly?
agerweb
Yes, load their mod in tesvedit and delete the npc reference. It will go back to vanilla then.
GowiHasti
Does it have to be tesvedit? Or can it be he creation kit?
foamyesque
Yes, it has to be TESVedit. Deleting vanilla items in the CK will break things. Editing the mod by deleting overrides via TESVEdit can also break things, but done correctly it will remove the mod's changes whilst retaining the vanilla settings.
