MasterExxploder117
Greetings, all! I've been messing around with the Creation Kit and have been following the official wiki's tutorials. Recently I made a terrible blunder: it appears I have deleted a base object from the .esm.The object is NorRmSmWallFront02, and whenever I attempt to place it anywhere with any cell loaded, it get a message reading "Object NorRmSmWallFront02 has been deleted." Additionally, and worst of all, any time this object occurs in game anywhere in Nordic ruins, even in cells I've never loaded, it is missing. Instead there is a big gaping hole from which I can see the sky and the Void below. As you can imagine this is terribly exasperating, and it obstructs the otherwise flawless and beautiful flow of the game, thanks to expensive parts I used to build my machine. I'd rather not have all that money go to waste because of one missing object! If anyone knows a way I can recover it, I would greatly appreciate it! I've looked around and seen a few vague hints and suggestions to extracting .bsa files. If that is the solution, where can I find the appropriate file for this particular object? Thanks, Gracias, and Danke! The Master Exploder P.S. I've provided screens to help elaborate on my issue.
wowtrancer
I would try a re-install or repair using steam. If it cannot repair your .esm then I suggest just deleting it, yes.. that's right... DELETE it. Or, at least, remove it from the folder, then try a repair. It should then redownload the new and complete .esm for you.
