Hi Guys,

Im trying to figure how to create/modifiy animations in 3DsMAX12 . I found some tutorials and i could reproduce them with the material given by the author. Good, but

I made a female character with CBBE- XP32 extended skeleton - Bodyslide - Racemenu .. and so on.. but as i use Mod Organiser i dont know where i can find :

- my female character with :

  • bones (given i gave her with bodyslide different size - bigger that the default)
  • vanilla animations : idling , running , etc
  • meshes (head, body, hands, feet)
  • textures (so the skin ? but that is not important)

I know that Mod Organiser make like a copy of the Data folder and never modify the original one; even though, there's is no Data folder if you never modify the original game (im right ? )

--> Anyway my installation is a mess now, i will reinstall a fresh copy of my game and use NMM . Can you please tell me for each of the 3 first points where i can find them in my Data folder by default ? So i can use them to make animations scaled to my character.

Thank you

By default, the files are packed inside the game's BSA files. When extracted they are found at the following locations:

skeleton files:

male - Data > meshes > actors > character > character assets

female - Data > meshes > actors > character > character assets female

animations:

shared - Data > meshes > actors > character > animations

male only - Data > meshes > actors > character > animations > male

female only - Data > meshes > actors > character > animations > female

meshes:

male & female - Data > meshes > actors > character > character assets

textures:
male & female - Data > textures > actors > character > ... search the sub folders for what you need.
