sopmac45
Thanks for the input Sopmac I do appreciate it. My rig is not as good as yours but it does (well, did) the job. - Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8gb- 8 gb ram- i5- 256 gb SSD The mama murphy chair was actually the remodel to look like the one featured in concept art and was something I wanted to try out. My load order before all this was more on the ludicrous side of things. I was always hovering around 240+ mods until now where I'm at 200 or so. I will keep what you said in mind and scour my texture mods further. Happy to help ... you do have a good video card but not that much of RAM or space in your SSD so you should watch closely what exactly you really need to play your game. I forgot to mention that I did not download the Bethesda texture package this time ( did it before because I thought that in combination with all the textures mods I had, it will look superb but I was wrong ) so, what I got is the main game + all the DLC and again, my mods are related to building, weapons, women and power armor ( Worsin paint and the other related to jetpacks ) .... .... I do respect what the texture mod's author have done and it is their fault if one or some, crash your game. They are free and we welcome their support and favor but it is our computer who should be really good enough to handle all those mods so we need to be careful. Also, I am waiting for WOTC ( War of the commonwealth ) update that the author is doing to install it again. It will be ready in two - three weeks from today ( I hope ). That's why I decided not to install any texture mod and give priority to WOTC because I know it will consume memory and my fps will suffer. I am planning not to play it on Mama's Murphy so I need my rig not to be so stressed with other mods that I do not really need and have room for this one. Happy gaming bro. ... correction to my input : " ... IT IS NOT THEIR fault if their mod crash our game " .... it is our when we want to have everything and we probably do not have the resources or read what the author recommend about load order ... btw, for example, scrap everything must be loaded at the very bottom of your load ( by the author ) but LOOT place it in the middle .... LOOT is not perfect and we need to respect and obey what the author says to avoid conflicts ... ... immersive lovers embrace MUST be placed the higher in your load order ( per author ) for the mod to work properly .... my point is that we need to read and follow their instructions by the letter and not to let LOOT to decide for us ... I don't !!
Benjango
I was going to ask if you did use Bethesda's HD or not, but it seems most people aren't keen on using it no matter the case. Most of my mods are similar to what you go for. I do seem to have a thing for outside textures and clothing mods. I'm not so much into building as I once was, so Sim Settlements is something I like a lot and I'm trying to keep from downloading all the addon packs for it.Before starting to mod FO4 I actually looked up mod lists from people like Oxhorn, Gopher, Darth Xile, and Valdacil and just sorta combined stuff that they had into the concoction of fail I've made for myself. Normally the problem would be somewhat easier to fix, but this is one of those problems that didn't exist and then just poofed into being within 12 hours of the game being off with no changes so I'm super depressed at the situation. No, I am using Nexus only .. never had any mod from Bethesda ... I wish this game graphics would be so good as The Witcher is so we would not have the need to even think about texture mods ... I do not know if the new upcoming Nexus Mod Manager will help in this regard or not but I hope it does ... I meant, having a lot of mods without having the trouble to be dealing with CTD's ...
