Installed multiple mods at once and got a few bugs

Hey guys, first post on these forums with this profile, but I had an account like six years ago that I can't remember anything about.

Anyway, I went on a downloading kick last night because I'd become sort of bored with the vanilla game. I installed Morrowindized Races, Morrowindized Artifacts, Morrowind Skooma, and Sounds of Skyrim (I also previously had Midas Magic installed). I realize that doing that was pretty stupid as I now have no idea what mod is causing the bugs I'm getting. The main bug is that most NPCs names won't appear when I look at them, and most of them without names I can't talk to, including my companion, who has my Nightingale Blade that I can't get back. A few others I noticed were locks being generally buggy and NPCs teleporting once in a while.

Hopefully one of you good folks know a fix for this or which mod is causing it.

When you have a lot of mods, the way to approach a solution is to simply deactivate half the mods and then see what happens. If you find that one half works and the other doesn't, then you need to try further deactivating the new half (of the mods that were not working) and see what happens, etc.

If you find that deactivating all your mods doesn't help, then you need to revert to an older save, and if that doesn't work then you need to reinstall. All of the above is just a nice little preliminary way to troubleshoot.

My money is on Morrwindized Races...

Before reverting to prior saves, it may also be worth your time to rule out your config files (Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini located at \My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\) by moving them to a temporary location and starting the game to allow it to automatically create new ones.

Then there's external hook-ins such as SKSE, ScriptDragon, and ENBseries. Though, these shouldn't be pertinent to your specific issue, I'd generally rule these out before trying old saves as well.

Not sure if this has been taken care of yet but I figured I'd throw in my two cents for anyone who has this issue. I also downloaded and installed Morrowindized and got the same issue, and that's the mod I uninstalled, and the issue vanished. It's that mod. Hope this helps somebody.
