MonthOLDpickle
I just installed the mods I been using into the data folder itself. If I were to redownload the mods, then refresh the data folder (via verify cache/redownload the game), and then use NMM to install the mods - will I be safe? MightyZ0G
you shouldn't need to verify the game files, just DL NMM and follow the install instructions, then in NMM there is a button on the left of the MOD tab to add mods you have DL'd from other sources. click on that button and select the zip files for the mods and you should be good to go.even without adding the zip files, if you look in the plugins tab you should see all the mods you have installed (except mesh texture replacers that don't use esp files), but it makes things tidier and easier to work with if you do activate the mods in NMM. as long as you don't remove any mods it shouldn't have any effect on your save Edited July 5, 2017 by mighty zog
damanding
I do recommend using the same load order you had previously which you can find in your plugins.txt. But I've done a full blown from scratch reinstall of Fallout 4, reinstalled (even updated some) mods into the same load order and my save game never even noticed the difference.
