Crowley9
I just recently came across the creator of New Vegas Redesigned mentioning that the preferred way to use it is with Fallout Character Overhaul disabled. Here's my problem: I created my character using the new options FCO provides, and if I disable it, my character has no model and I cannot move. And if I try to fix the situation by invoking "showracemenu" in the console, the game crashes. Would it be possible to somehow separate the portions from FCO which apply to the player character and disable the rest of the mod?
dubiousintent
Well, despite the NVR author (Dracomies)' opinion about FCO's changes to certain NPCs he feels should have been left alone, you are now committed to an FCO PC, and those changes. Which in turn means you are going to have to live with a combined mod environment OR start over with just one or the other. The good news is that people have been able to get both to work together. Please see the 'Issue: FCO or FNV Redesigned3 characters have pink faces or clean bodies with dirty faces' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
Crowley9
Ah, that is unfortunate. I don't actually have problems with both mods running at the same time, and I rather like the player character customization FCO allows.
