Ironman5000
Since the release of the CK I have not been able to get it working properly. Every time I activate skyrim.esm I get this message, "MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Lookup failed for ID 0x00012584 from strings file: STRINGS/Skyrim_ENGLISH.DLSTRINGS" I have been in touch with Steam support who gave these instructions to fix the problem, -Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).-Delete all of the files in this folder except:-The \Steamapps\ folder and Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and features the black and white Steam logo)-Restart your computer.-Then, launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut. -With Steam running, re-test the original issue. I have followed these instructions to the letter and it's not fixed it. This is using my desktop, when I tried it on my laptop it seemed to work but I can't use that for modding. Can anyone tell me why I have this and how I can fix it? It's really annoying me and can't do any real modding while this is going on. EDIT: I have already tried copying the sLanguage=ENGLISH from skyrim_default.ini to skyrimeditor.ini under [general], still no joy!
