Uploading screenshots

How do the screenshot uploaders upload high quality screenshots? I tried for the first time to upload some but it says there is a 1.5 mb limit. When I resize my screenshots down to that size, they look terrible. I see many high quality, high rez screenshots on the Nexus. What's the trick? I have some great shots I wanted to share, but after resizing them, I changed my mind.

Probably your screenshots are in bit map format and that format is to big and when you resize the pics the resolution sucks.

You need to use some tool like photoshop or paintshop and convert the pics in JPEG format and with that format the size of the file decreases and you can upload now the file in their original dimensions and with high resolution.

yeah, you can use a converter. the jpeg format is one of the best when it comes to small file sizes with acceptable quality

I just use paint as a converter for my images.

SIlly question, maybe but I can't figure this out.

How do I share a screenshot as a reply to a comment on Nexus? I've seen other people doing it and I can't find out how. I google but only find explanations on how to take them.

Meggan if your still there. it looks like i figured it out, somewhat. i created an account with imgur.com uploaded picture in there and while vieweing image in imgur there is a little section to the right that as options for shareing. i copied and paste the BBCode (messages and forums) info and did i quick test here, and it worked here.
