I've heard someone say they started having problems at about 250 mods.I don't know for sure though, since I only run about 50 esps. That's just what I've heard. Given that these ID's are in hex that means 256 combinations, although FF is reserved for items created/spawned in game, reducing the total of master files AND mods to 255.
