Laser Weapon Overhaul

A comprehensive overhaul and expansion for all weapons starting with "Laser"

 

Split receiver mods up into

  • Capacitor: Standard, Boosted, Maximized, Overcharged
  • Photon Resonance: Excited, Agitated
  • Wave: Beta, Gamma

Trigger Options override Barrel functionality.

  • Semi Auto - Standard
  • Automatic - Fires as though it has the Automatic barrel equipped
  • Charge - Low power semi-auto, hold to charge up a shot, release to fire a Laser Musket beam
  • Beam - Fire a sustained Assaultron Laser that rapidly eats through ammo

Automatic Barrel now has better automatic recoil control and offers a faster "Rapid" or "Hair Trigger" fire rate.

Charging Barrel has better charge speed and charge shot damage.

Barrel Quality is now an option rather than two separate mods for the same model. New Qualities increase stats further

  • Quality: Standard, Improved, Upgraded, Perfected

Add additional Stocks/Grips, from Laser Musket and Plasma Rifle.

Add Underbarrel mods: Bayonets, Flashlights

Muzzle category remains the same.

Add option to change laser color

  • Color: Red (Standard), Blue (Institute), Yellow, Green, Purple, White, etc.

Add option for Material Mods, with overarching stat effects.

  • Materials: Standard (No stat difference) Polymer (Bonus to damage and value) Rust/Broken (Irradiates user on use, -75% damage and value)

as far as laser weapons something I would like to see some inventive individual create is a gatlin laser weapon using the minutemen's hand crank but say a group of 6 using the hand crank to fire all barrels of course mounted on a tripod for city security. It would be something awesome to see. . . . just my 2 cents. . . . .I do think laser weapons should be equal and upgraded superior to regular weapons.
