nexusacc111
I installed my very first mod at all and it is "Commonwealth Conifers Redux" for Fallout 4. After starting the game via the NMM only trees changed into nice normal green trees - but not the grass and other stuff which you can see at the screenshots: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16509/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D16509%26preview%3D&pUp=1 => So what could I have done wrong? I changed the .ini like they say:bUseCombinedObjects=0bUsePreCreatedSCOL=0(first wihout the second line) Moreover I changed the other custom ini like they say here http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation#How_To_Enable_Fallout_4_Mods : Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=
MightyZ0G
because that mod only changes the trees into conifers (pine trees) to change the grass you need a different mod such as Touch of Green I have to mention that bUseCombinedObjects=0 and bUsePreCreatedSCOL=0 can make your game lag and stutter/freeze in some of the more built up areas, so use with caution. nexusacc111
Ok thank you. But I think than it is a little bit of fake that the screenshots including green grass and landscape :-( Whoch Mod or Mods are the best for a nice green/summer landscape at all? The Season-Mod maybe? Moreover I noticed that the main INI now changed for any reasons. Instead of the above entries there is written now under [general]:bDisableAllGore=0bUsePreCreatedSCOL=0 So, what does the first mean with the gore? Can I delete this line? Foxie01
Hey :) Unfortunaly I cant help you with the lines but I myself use Regrowth for the trees (adds a dense forest) and load Grassland after.
MightyZ0G
my recommendation would be RustBelt Flora, but that is more autumnal than summer, although the game is set in October/November. bDisableAllGore=0 can be ignored. it means that blood will be displayed when you shoot people/animals if you change to a flora overhaul that doesn't require ini edits you can either delete thebUseCombinedObjects=0 and bUsePreCreatedSCOL=0 lines or you can change them to bUseCombinedObjects=1 and bUsePreCreatedSCOL=1.either will work Edited July 8, 2017 by mighty zog
SMB92
Shame that its simply not worth the performance drop (in some cases I have seen 2000% increase in draw calls) to use these tweaks when using flora mods, and shame most of the really fluffy trees can't work well with previs when regenerated. Save yourself the headache and find a mod that looks good enough without those tweaks, I personally like the Seasons overhaul mod Summer or Autumn editions
