Falmer Armor

I have nowhere near the skill nor the time to make it myself but the Falmer armor, specifically the Boots are lacking on npc's since they suffer from ugly feet textures(unless body mods are incorporated). But in vanilla it seems a bit ridiculous for npc's to have no boot or shoe or chitin sole on the Falmer boots, something as simple as jury rigged leather sandals would look better then bare feet. Also it would seem ridiculous for npc's to run barefoot anywhere in Skyrim or under it for that matter, it is sensible for tribal like, blind Falmer, but not for adventurers.

Also the waist armor looks somewhat like a diaper just saying XD, if a determined blacksmith went out of their way to build some Falmer armor they would come up with something better as a heavy armor, something with a more parallel protective look, just as organic and alien but more worked on respected and fearsome like Daedric or Dragonbone.

As crude as the armor is supposed to look it is quite vanilla neglected and deserves better for npc's and hopefully there is someone out there who agrees and may take the task underhand, if not then thanks for letting me vent on horrible vanilla textures.

i agree with the boots maby like a retexture of the foot part of some other armor merged with it would look nice but the armor and guantlets i like the shield could look abit more fearsome and the helmet well i could live with it being the same but maby a closed back would be better than an open back :P

Not sure if there's a canon reason in the lore of Skyrim. However, as the Falmer have no eyes I would think having no sole on their shoes lets them navigate better by allowing them to feel the ground. Human feet are soft because we wear shoes, when people walk bare foot the feet quickly adapt to walking over hard surfaces. Might have been better to name them Falmer Shin Guards though.

So not ridiculous, just unusual.
