groupoffriends
As you know, some modders are using Skyrim graphics and sound to re-release Morrowind. (See this link for example) But I don't think they would release it without upgrading the old alchemy system or the quest log to Skyrim standards. Playing Morrowind now, after playing Skyrim, those two functions really suck. What do you want to see changed in the new Skyrim-based Morrowind? (If it's out already, then don't worry!) amycus
hm, this was actually the first time I've heard of this, so thanks for the link.Though some corrections to the op:*This isnt a project that bethesda is working on, but a modder group as far as I can see.*Its not using skyrims engine from what I've read and seen on youtube videos. Its the same old morrowind engine, but with a large collection of user made mods to improve graphics (which is good, because if they had simply ported over everything to the skyrim engine, Bethesda would likely not have stayed quiet since they dont allow that. So as far as I can see, it should be completely legal as long as they really have permission from all the original mod authors) I do agree with you that especially the quest log needs to be updated a bit. But hopefully this project will breath new life into the morrowind modding, and let such a mod be created if it doesnt already exist somewhere. a7x5631
Personally I would prefer a mod with Morrowind in it's current state in the lore. I've played the game so much over the years and have almost done it all. Now it's time to let it go. Plus the graphics never bothered me, and still don't. Thanks for the correction. With the old quest log, it was really hard to find the quests you had not completed yet. And you couldn't tell what ingredients you should look for, to get a specific potion.
Fortunado3
...Morrowinds lack of hand holding makes it better than Skyrims log/journal. Skyrims quests, logs, directions, etc. should be upgraded to Morrowinds system. Edited February 23, 2012 by Fortunado3
Dubnoman
I think that is just a graphics mod for Morrowind, and nothing more.
Rennn
Yeah, it's the Overhaul 2.0.It's amazing, but it has nothing to do with Skyrim.
