Daiuuus
Hello guys,I have a giant problem with stutter in cities. The stutter pretty much only happens in cities and while turning. If I stand still for a second everything runs fine again. It doesn't seem to be a V-Sync issue (iPresentInterval is 0 and enblocal has vsync enabled). Furthermore my GPU usage never reaches 100% and the FPS drops and stutter even happen at 30% usage.Maybe the VRAM is the problem (I'm on Windows 10 but only have 4GB anyway). I already tried increasing ReservedMemorySIze to 1024 but that didn't help. Do I really just need to reduce texture mods or is it another problem? kthompsen
Even on my high end PC, I get stuttering under certain conditions. With city mods or added NPC populations. And ENBoost seems to do it even in the wilderness. So I dropped ENBoost. I also run Windows 10, so that's probably unideal as well. It doesn't play as well with old Skyrim as Win 7 does. I'm pretty sure even the author of ENBoost has acknowledged it has a stutter problem. If you have it, I'd drop it personally. It's overrated and shouldn't be pushed on everyone, like STEP thinks. Always x3 ................... set V-sync at the driver level to ON . Because you have a GTX 970 using Windows 10 you need to use 3.5 GB in the ENB local. Post your mod list please.. it might help. If you have a G - Sync of Free Sync monitor use NV inspector to lock FPS at 60.

Well, I don't really know why it has to be ON at the driver level, but I tried every possible combination of V-Sync settings. Didn't change a thing. After further testing with/without texture mods and an ENB it seems that the VRAM is the problem.Time to uninstall some texture mods.
