Bizzare texture/ graphical issues

I've been having some really strange graphical issues in New Vegas. I'm not sure if it's the ENB or something else. Basically textures pop in/ disappear or become transparent in various places, especially around Lake Mead. I think it may be the ENB because the screen (but not the status bars, or any menus) goes black when I turn it off. When I turn it back on everything's back to the way it was before.

Thinking it might be a mod issue I tried to install Wrye Flash but I ended up overwriting the data folder like an idiot. I used the game file validation thing in Steam to get it back, but now my character is permanently stuck under the ground. I'm able to move around and go in and out of buildings but that's all I'm able to do. I've uninstalled/reinstalled my entire load order and ran LOOT. I'm only a level 6 so it's not the end of world if I have to start a completely new game, but I'm just starting to get to the point where I'm really enjoying the game, so I'd prefer not to if I don't have to.

Please provide the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. In particular, almost nothing can be determined without seeing your "load order". The original symptoms sound like "too many plugins".

Once you hosed your "Data" folder, you can generally kiss your save games "good-bye". Even putting plugins back in exactly the same order is still likely to leave issues. Let the old game go, and take this as an opportunity to "do things right" this time around.

Even if you are an old hand at modding FNV, please review the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. You may find something you overlooked or even never knew.

As for ENB, please see the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

Sorry about that. Knew I forgot something. I'll try starting a new game and seeing if that fixes the movement/camera issues, I'll see if it fixes the graphical stuff

You have optional files from mods installed that you don't need. These cause "missing master" issues. I immediately noticed:

* NevadaSkies - TTW Edition.esp

* NevadaSkies - Ultimate DLC Edition.esp

* NevadaSkies - Basic Edition.esp

Don't use it myself but I know you should not use a TTW optional file unless you are playing TTW. You are supposed to use only one of the other two: Basic or "Ultimate DLC". And "all DLCs" might be taken to mean "including all of the Pre-Order Packs" because they are bundled in the "Ultimate Edition", even though they usually don't have any effect upon game play still they might cause a "missing master" issue.

There may be others, but that is enough to say you need to review the install requirements of each mod more carefully. Especially wherever you see more than one file for a mod (i.e. "Alternative Repairing", "Um Traffic", etc.).

Clean those up and see what the result is.
