Naafalilargus
I recently downloaded and activated another mod, when i went in game, the mod didn't work for some reason. i exit the game, and try to launch it from the mod manager, but i forgot i had to have the file directory in a certain place wich i also forgot, because i previously tried to change the directory to make an other mod work. when i tried changing the directory to a certain place, a sudden error popped up saying something really bad has happened. i can't even go back into the mod manager anymore because this error keeps popping up. i just placed the directory in /sourcemods. what did i mess up?
thompsonar
 You're going to have to give more specifics if you expect and answer I think. What mod? Nexus mod manager? What directories? Why are you changing directories at all if you're using a manager? What's the error actually say? Perhaps someone else will get this but I do not even understand the problem as it is stated.

thompsonar
I'm no expert on this but if you go to the location stated in the error message and post the contents of the crash dump file someone else may be able to help. I would think NMM is crashing due to the fact you moved the files. You should put them back where they belong. Usually mods go into the data folder of the main Skyrim directory. If you can find the readme for the mod it will tell you exactly where to put the files. If you're still unsure I would just do a manual download of the file and unzip the file to your Skyrim directory and then try to launch NMM again. When you're using NMM to install and activate mods you should not have to do any moving of the files at all. I have both of those mods running fine with no problems using NMM. In the future remember to eliminate the most simple option first. If you don't think a mod is working check the description so you know how to find the items, spells, etc before going and moving files around.
