[Request] - Horse walk with road follow

Currently you can double tap Left Shift and the horse will gallop and follow the road

 

you can also hold shift and the horse will go at a moderate speed but still be able to follow the road.

 

to go at a slower speed, you need to hold W, but cannot follow the road because moving the camera changes directions for the horse.

 

I would like to request an option to hold Control (or left control specifically) to be able to move at the walk speed for the horse while still being able to follow the road thereby being able to move the camera freely at those speeds while staying on the proper path.

 

 

I have tried to look for a mod that does this, but found no options when searching for horse or trotting or anything along those lines.

I don't know any mod that does exactly what you want the way you've described, but you may want to try this:

The mod includes "Alternative Horse Controls", which gives Roach multiple speeds - slow walk, walk, trot, canter and gallop, and the ability to set Roach at one of those speeds and then have her maintain it, without having to hold down a key. Plus, it gives you the option of disabling the automatic camera centering while you are on horseback. This allows you to maintain any speed you want while following the road and looking around freely.

 

It works for me on Version 1.31, tested on Keyboard and Controller.
