Edokage
Are you not entirely satisfied with how Skyrim hands out perk points to everyone who levels up automatically? Have you tried buying them with dragon souls but it just didn't feel 'right'? That the first method was too easy, or the second, while more challenging, was not all that lore friendly (because obviously not every blacksmith is a dragonslayer)? If so, i have an idea you might like.Earn your perks. The idea is as follows:As a base, the skill and 'previous perks' requirements remain unchanged BUT there will be added additional requirements onto these in the form of 'tasks' that the player will have to fulfill before the perk is given. This task differs from perk to perk but will only begin 'count' when all other requirements are met. In the event of a multi-ranked perk, the task will basically be the same as previous ranks but harder. Upon meeting all the requirements (intentional or not) the player earns the perk automatically. Possible tasks: Archery:Overdraw: Kill X enemies with bow.Critical shot: Cause X damage with bowEagle Eye: Kill X enemies from a distance of min. Y yards with bow.Steady hand: Shoot and hit X times in Y seconds.Power shot: Kill X Y (X amount of enemy type Y) with bow.Hunter's Discipline: Recover X arrows from enemies you've killed with bow.Ranger: Move X yards with a drawn bow.Quick Shot: Shoot X times with bow.Bullseye: Kill X dragons with bow. Pickpocket:Light Fingers: Pickpocket X items.Night Thief: Pickpocket X items from sleeping targets.Poisoned: Place X items in targets' pocketsCutpurse: Pickpocket X gold.Extra Pockets: Pickpocket items with a sum weight of X.Keymaster: Pickpocket X keys.Misdirection: Pickpocket items over X weight with a sum value of Y.Perfect Touch: Pickpocket equipped weapons with a sum value of Y.
