Why Nude textures Everywhere?

Okay so I hope back and forth between pc and Xbox, using mods on both. I have a few mods like the recorder follower, and I noticed if you remove her misfit dark leggings, leaving the pirate shirt and skirt, you can see... Everything.

I've noticed this with lots of follower mods, so I'm wondering who takes their time to draw such detailed genitals, without actually giving us a nude version?

The Xbox version of the recorder follower is what I found this out through, and if you noclip through her, there's nip textures too, I'm just wondering like, why?

(I have no issue with nudity, my question is why are there genetalia textures, even on children follower mods like tiny serana by the way, which is messed up on its own...)

Clothing/armor mod authors usually do not create the body used in their mods, but use the generic upperbodyfemale.dds texture file.

It would appear that you have a body replacer mod and that is what is being used by the clothing/armor mods.

When you remove the clothing/armor of an NPC or noclip through the clothing/armor, that is what is being displayed.

Why not? Why you care? Why I don't? Why ask? Why it matters? Why it doesn't?

People have drawn and sculpted naked people for millennia. It's the human nature, we like our own bodies. Yet there seems to have an issue nowadays, drawing naked people today is perverted, but in 200 BC or the 16th century is geniality.

I see as the artist's will, the artist saw that it would be incomplete, just like the Greek artist thought that it would be incomplete if he did not sculpt the penis or the nipples.

Anyway, if we are talking about Skyrim the mod author has used a base nude mesh. Generally those bodies are more detailed and realistic.

really depends. It takes weeks to months for people to build these body types from scratch and they might as well have a bit of fun with it. But seriously I don't know. most body mods I've seen have a never nude option so...

By default all characters are covered. You're running a mod that has nude textures and that's what you're seeing when you strip NPC of their clothing/armor. It's not the armor in specific it's the body replacer you're using.

Most body replacers have optional files that cover up the naughty bits, check the mods page for whatever mod you're using and see if there's an optional file, more likely then not if it was an installer based mod the option was included in the install package.
