LittleBaron
In Nifscope, after importing your mesh and assigning the proper BSLightingShaderProperty, you need to right-click on the NiTriShape --> Mesh --> Face Normals. You'll notice that your mesh suddenly appears brighter in NifSkope AND it will look like you thought it should in game. Since you messed with the vertex colors, I would redo the import just to be safe (because some things need them for one reason or another in order to render). MaelstromDesign
Okay, i'm so close to fixing this, i can taste it. I've managed to get it so the new, edited mesh appears ingame, but again, my head is gone. I'm uploading a pick from NifSkope to see if anyone finds anything wrong with it. I can post more pics of the block details if needed. http://i433.photobucket.com/albums/qq55/KnightOfAmmo/Untitled-1-1.jpg
ghosu
You entered the same value as in the original NIF of the replaced item in BSSkinDismemberInstance | Partitions | Partitions | Body Part ? Edited March 4, 2012 by ghosu

ghosu
Well i only had this issue twice: Once when the partition used the wrong body part value and the other one used the wrong settings in the CK forms...i made a standalone once, but there was a menu in the forms for the armor part where you could check/uncheck several body parts...there i made an error last time, ended with an invisible helmet as well. MaelstromDesign
Well the hood is now visible, thankfully, just my head is still ghosting.
MaelstromDesign
I figured it out. Turns out, the original Nightingale Hood actually doesn't even show the head's mesh, but when i moved the new model to the leather helmet's entry, it worked like a charm. Thanks for all the help guys!
