IronEE
So I'm on the path of building the mother of all PC's, part of this quest is making Skyrim a whole different thing. I've been through the vast majority of the nexus mods adding up a collection. One of the things I want to change is better textures for EVERYTHING! Terrain, armour, weapons, animals, items, magic, etc... So instead of hunting down each individual mod that changes water, or whiterun, is there any mod package that improves every texture in skyrim? Thanks!
nightscrawl
So I'm on the path of building the mother of all PC's, part of this quest is making Skyrim a whole different thing. I've been through the vast majority of the nexus mods adding up a collection. One of the things I want to change is better textures for EVERYTHING! Terrain, armour, weapons, animals, items, magic, etc... So instead of hunting down each individual mod that changes water, or whiterun, is there any mod package that improves every texture in skyrim? Thanks! Every texture in a single mod? No. Mods like Skyrim 2k and Noble Skyrim do landscape and most of the architecture, and are mostly complete, but for armor and weapons you will have to download those separately. I highly recommend Book of Silence for armor and weapons, but even that is not entirely complete, even if it does have most of the default pieces done. Cabal has more, supplementary pieces on their page that aren't in the main mod. There is also Rustic Clothing, and well... just all of the Rustic mods. It's actually kind of pointless to do every texture in the game, as most of those things we won't see on a regular basis while just roaming around. There are over 30k textures in all of Skyrim, including cubemaps that are used for metallic reflections, things like spell impact decals (scorch marks, etc), and a whole host of other things. This is why modders focus on a single area, like trees, or architecture, and so on, because it's such a ginormous task that no single person could complete it. This game was developed by a team over a period of years. My main retexture mod is Noble Skyrim, but I supplement that with some other textures. I made my own compilation of farmhouse textures from various mods, I use other modders' furniture and clutter, the windows from Rustic Windows over the Noble Skyrim ones, and on and on. If you're trying to build a complete, shiny Skyrim, it will take some time and browsing. The nice thing about it is that you can invariably find things to suit your taste. Skyrim 2k is different from Noble Skyrim, which is different from Skyrim 2016, and so on.
Novem99
Such a pack doesn't exist and probably won't ever exist. kevkiev
No all-in-one but, to save "hunting down" stuff, a good place to start is the STEP guide: http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.10.0 Includes the major texture/mesh mods (and a whole lot more) and you can always tweak things further on your own.
