SirFox1
So my skyrim keeps autosaving randomly during combat, or after combat, or even while I'm just walking. It's ridiculous and irritating! Plus, it happens every 5 minutes or so, most often after combat. Furthermore, I have autosave COMPLETELY disabled, and I even downloaded AutoSave Manager, and disabled all of the settings. Is there any way of fixing it? How do I know which mod it's from? Edited July 14, 2017 by SirFox1
Guest deleted34087450
Are you sure that is not something related with the "Auto save manager"? Make sure to give a look on your load order and see if you find another mod that are messing with those settings or do have the autosave option on it. For some reason, I started a new game today, and the problem is not occuring in this save yet; I'm guessing something is corrupted or broken on my old save causing these random autosaves. Plus, these autosaves happened BEFORE I installed AutoSave Manager; Thank you though! I'll keep you updated if the problem happens again on my new save
metaforce
My assumption is that the autosave script in your savegame got stuck (Dont ask why.....s#*! happens). For some reason the fact that the script threads task has been completed is not recognised by the engine. Try using this script scalpel, especially try to stop any running threads in your savegame. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/?
Arlatham09
I had a mod called dynamic time scale , found out it had auto save feature in it, quickly removed , I have a ps3 running on so was definitely not good to keep building up save file size as ps3 starts lagging bad when they get huge ,... Hopefully this fixes your issue
