BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 I equip (in game, via trade menu) newly created armor/clothing for a radstag and the armor/clothing only shows up on the radstag after saving quitting and restarting. =( Any bright ideas? Thank you, I will appreciate any info that can be provided.P.S. It's actually all the armor I've created for this new radstag race, just using this one in the attached image as an example.New radstag race is based on vanilla radstag race, but edited skeleton and other bits and pieces. Only dif i see in yours from other clothing mod is that you have a female world model and no preview transform settings. What if you disable and enable the npc? does clothes appear then? Goshdarnit ! ! ) race mishap that was the cause. Thank you. It was probably your race change. The world model is only used for:Viewing in a crafting window. When adding mod attachments or if using chemlab/etc to make an item. Then it is shown with the green filter. When the item is dropped in the world. When hovering over item in the inventory list.The default race and additional races on the armor addon record specify whether the item will appear on the actor when equipped. If the actor equipping doesn't fit the default or one of the selected additional races, it will be invisible. I haven't tested whether the effects/enchantments will activate if it fails to find a qualifying visible addon record to match the race or not. You can see how this works with the welding goggles. The default race is dogmeat (kinda odd but it doesn't really matter) and there's 2 armor addon indexes. One for humans/synths/ghouls and one for dogmeat/viscousdog/raiderdog. Any race can attempt to equip the item but it will only show visible for one of those that qualifies. The engine will automatically select the appropriate armor index provided it can match the actor race to one of the default or additional races in one of the addon records. Interestingly because of the race selections, Nick Valentine can't wear them. He has a custom synth gen 2 race which isn't on either of the addon index records.
